Are you educated or indoctrinated?
Being educated is one thing, but being indoctrinated is another. It's easy to know who has been educated and who has been indoctrinated. Josh Kaufman wrote, "Good education helps you learn to see the world in a new, more 'productive' way". Education teaches one to think critically and logically, closely examining facts, with the goal that you discover a way to better the world and share those discoveries with others. Indoctrination teaches you to accept beliefs without thinking critically and logically, and without close examination of the facts, with the goal that you find and magnify the wrongs of the world in an effort to indoctrinated others of these wrongs. You are indoctrinated to study the evils of another group toward your group while highlighting the goods of your group toward every other group.
For example, group A was enslaved and mistreated by group B. But Group A has done only good things to group B. Therefore group B is solely responsible for the plight of group A. Group A is the victim and must be fully recompensed by group B. (Indoctrination)
Education teaches you to balance the good and bad of every group.
For example, throughout the history of humanity groups A-Z (all groups) have enslaved and mistreated not only many other groups, but also their own group. Yet they have also served and aided many groups including their own. (Education)
Education is intellectually and ethically balanced. Indoctrination is intellectually and ethically imbalanced. Education inspires love and unity while indoctrination provokes hatred and separatism.
